Cheap flights & Taxes

 I often wonder why Cheap flights are not so cheap anymore and then you see what they put on the bottom of the airfare tickets  and it starts to make sense as the goverments are in there taxing a way like crazy. the thing I can't understand is what are getting for this a bunch of anyoing TSA inspections and added time added to departures on flights so that they can justify thier expense.

It drives me crazy when I see a ticket advertised for one rate then after the taxes and surcharges it is at least 25% more than what was advertised.
