Cheap Charlies has allways been about finding the best value not nessecarily the best price and one of the things that we have talked about is  freaquent flyer or cheapest flights, You are paying more for a flight to get better value.  A long haul flight where you are in economy plus on United and now Continental is going to give you more leg room which makes a huge differnce If you can get 3 or 4 hours of zonk time as oposed to sardine class the extra money is well spent.

now good on them con-united are adding more value if you can get your bags faster on the landing if you are on a 747 you are getting out of the airport faster in places like Bali or Bangkok could be 20 minuites. priority loading is nice as you can get your stuff in to the overhead and you don't have to hassle finding a spot.

United and Continental
Premier Access is the new name of our priority airport services. These services are now available to all United and Continental elite members, as well as customers traveling in first and business class. Look for the new Premier Access signs to guide you to these exclusive priority areas when you fly United and Continental:
•Priority lanes and ticket counters at check-in
•Priority security lanes (where available)
•Priority blue carpet boarding lanes at gates
•Priority baggage handling

as a Premier member, you enjoy some of these benefits already; now they include priority boarding and priority baggage handling.

We've also made some changes to the boarding process. Listen for boarding instructions when you arrive at the gate.

Travel planning and flight check-in are now more convenient.

Whether you are booking a flight, assigning yourself a seat, or simply checking flight status for United or Continental, you can now use either website (united.com or continental.com). And at our largest airports, you may now check in and print boarding passes for flights on either airline using self-service check-in kiosks operated by United or Continental.

Our new look is taking off at Chicago O'Hare.

If you're traveling through Chicago's O'Hare Airport, you'll see the new United brand unveiled. Our United and Continental terminals now display the new United logo and signage at check-in, security and at departure gates. Next in line are San Francisco and Washington Dulles Airports.
