Doing something a little different I have all ways loved big bikes so I am going to go on a road trip that is going to be part cheap hotels Campgrounds and friends houses.
First day out had a minor problem which made me understand the importance of bring some tools with as I had a nut come loose on my Sportster battery that caused the bike almost to die on a 11,000 foot pass fortunately I had just enough tools to get the bolt tight and continue on my way.
I spent the night in the Rivera Hotel on Colfax in Aurora Colorado which is part of Denver. I have used this hotel in the past I like it because the bed is huge Big TV and fairly fast internet. Across the street is a family Dollar store which I got so me more bungee cords and another set of tools just in case!
Today off to I hope Lincoln Nebraska if I am lucky and the but holds up maybe even to Omaha. there I will be looking to stay in my tent at a state Campground. Wish me and my 1200 XLH Sportster luck!
